South Melbourne Market has made significant changes to reduce the environmental impact of their operations over the years. To continue being a leader in environmental sustainability, they are working towards achieving three key strategic priorities; to wipe out waste, transition towards a zero carbon operation and reduce water use and impact on water ways. 

The campaign identity needed to compliment previous campaigns such as Shuck Don’t Chuck, as well as cut through the noise in a dense and stimulating market environment. The demographic of the market is diverse and needed to consider how to communicate to a large tourist population as well as children and everyone in between.

Th campaign identity visually depicts the conversion of materials into another resource, focusing on the positive impact these initiatives have in the market.

When it came to data visualisation, we distilled the information in the sustainability report into it’s simplest form focusing on clear KPI’s and developed process infographics to show the impact of electricity reduction, water reduction and waste diversion.
